Dirk Shelton has dedicated over two decades to supporting students in attaining their academic objectives, serving as a certified math teacher. Throughout his cumulative experience, Shelton has contributed his expertise to various educational institutions in central Illinois, such as Decatur Christian School, NW Christian School, and Eisenhower High School. Prior to transitioning to a full-time role at Kumon Math and Reading, he also instructed algebra and trigonometry at Richland Community College. Additionally, Shelton established academic centers in both Bloomington and Decatur, with the Bloomington center boasting an enrollment of over 300 students at its peak. Notably, his contributions with Kumon consistently earned him recognition as one of the top instructors in North America, resulting in numerous achievements, accolades, and international travel opportunities.
